  • New Michelin tire choices

So, for those who may not be ready to go to the darkside, (*see here:

    http://www.harleyarena.net/forum/mai...er-tire-change* for my tire experiments)

my local wrench tells me he just got 11,000 miles out of a Michelin Scorcher 31 Rear tire. Anybody else try these? I'm lowballing with a Shinko front tire this time, but if it doesn't hold up, then I'll probably try one of these on the front next...

Anyway, after moving to this area about a year ago, I feel fortunate to have found a local bike shop run by Veterans. Gotta love old bike shops!

I ran a set of Commander 2's and got over 15000 miles out of them. They were also a great handling tire.
